what in the name of notch?! lol. that vid is…huh…idk.

  3. Wouter Says:

    Dolphins hacked the server?

  4. JPS Says:

Guys, something odd is happening here.  Under Chromium, I see the LAS video, but with Firefox, I get an animal kingdom video with birds, whales, dolphins, and sharks.  I’m no web guru, but something is wrong for sure.

  5. Böjn Lymn Says:

Good show guys. I liked the review I just wish it was longer, but I understand there is a lot of news to cover.

  6. Rich W Says:

Yeah, the same thing is happening to me.  Under Google Chrome 13, when I click on the video, I can see the LAS.  With the latest version of Firefox (6.01), I see birds and dolphins and sharks (oh my).

  7. Colin Kilt Says:

I watched like the first 20 mins the other day – didn’t have time to watch all it in one sitting so went back to it just now. Suddenly the video seems to have been replaced with aquatic shenanegans. Has the Natty Nahrwahl infiltrated the server to stop us hearing the review of Mandriva?
More to the point – what the hell is going on? The last episode didn’t play at all – and now this one seems knackered too.

  8. Anonymous Says:

Sorry about that, the OGG source was pointing at a demo file.. And only some browsers call on OGG, some point to the MP4 and some a flash. All fixed!

    -Chris

  9. Anonymous Says:

Seems that the OGG file is giving us some troubles today. It mostly is happening to the Firefox users, but since that’s the most of ya, I’m gonna swap back to a flash player so it works for you guys.

I’ll do some testing and figure out what the deal is, and roll out the fix in the next episode, sorry about the troubles!

  10. David Hettinger Says:

While I love watching Chris and Allan on Tech Snap I really feel that the combo detracts from the joy I normally find while watching LAS. I don’t know what it is, perhaps the issue is just my mindset when watching Bryan and Chris vs that when watching Allan and Chris… I really don’t know… None the less keep up the good work and I’ll catch you next week, as always!

  11. Joe Ramos Says:

I feel the same but I came to the realization that this is because they are not “together” in the same room. At least in my case this is the reason.

  12. jgm Says:

I feel the same but I came to the realization that this is because Allan, unlike Bryan, doesn’t swallow a cup and a half of sugar before the show and wash it down with a liter of Jolt Cola. :-)

As far as being a gnome 2 refugee, I just switched right to XFCE. ;^)

Nice show! I am a long time listener. Today I am here watching this episode with my kid and just noticed you use Diigo bookmark manager. Great! I am also a user.
    Keep up the great work!
    Cheers from Brazil!
