great episode, but completely wrong on “lost”. I didn't like it the 1st time I saw the finale, but the things said about it's ending are not what the show was saying really happened at all. After watching the finale again, I've done a 180 and now love it.

you guys are kinda stupid. baby aaron didn’t die. he escaped and was left with his grandma. And asuming the plane the rest of them escaped in made it to land, would have been reunited with his mom. Even if she was batshit crazy.
The scene in the church takes place out of time and space after everyone has gone and died. That was just a place for that group of friends, not everyone who was stranded on the island.
So was this the finale of Beer is Tasty ?

I am just considering podcasting and such and stumbled upon Chris’ reviews on mics. I am impressed with the quality of picture and sound. I like the laid-back atmosphere. I really wish I could write podcasts and videocasts and you guys film it, record it and edit it for me with my music, script and topics. (I do like your idea of beer reviews).

But I have to agree with some of the other comments below. I don’t think you guys understood the show that well. First, early on in the writing stage, they did know generally some big pieces of the story. The hatch. Others. Good versus evil. It is all laid out early in the first season. The only time the writers didn’t really know what to do was season 3 because they didn’t know how to keep extending the story. That is why season 3 tried introducing new characters and tried to slow down the action. Fans complained. The writers knew they were failing. They created a deadline of 3 years to wrap up and the show got back on track.

Now I don’t think the ending was perfect. I wished there were some answers about Walt and Aaron and polar bears and a few other minor things. And I also wish that some of the backstory about the Dharma Initiative that was revealed in online games and clues for hardcore fans who interacted on ABC’s website found out about — I wish that was included more in the show to fill in some gaps.

But they were not all just dead and it all did matter. I think you misunderstood the whole idea of the after-life info they gave in the finale.

If you didn’t see it, I thought this was a pretty good capturing of how I felt about the whole thing. His attitude is my attitude about the show. Like this author, I don’t expect to convince you but I think you were selling it way too short.
