Nice review, but damn you guys for bringing up the N900 again and bringing back my Nokia lust! Just can't justify $400+ dollars… but really really want.
Jam.K:
Nice to know it's hardware is also hack/modifiable.

I found some info on what cctalk is:
http://sitekiosk.com/en-US/Help/SiteKiosk/sitec...
“What is ccTalk? ccTalk is a generall protocol that enables communication between Computers and payment devices (coin and bill acceptors) using the serial port (RS232/COM port). USB devices using a special driver to emulate a serial port can also be used. The protocol has been developed by the company Money Controls (formerly Coin Control).”

LAS in WebM format would be nice. Any plans to start using WebM?

Hi ABC, check back a couple episodes ago. We talk about shipping the show in WebM.
The short: We plan to SOON. But today, it takes about 24 hours to encode our show in WebM. The encoder is very very slow, and built more around short web videos today. But they are workin on that.

Talk about multitasking on the N900 … a couple of weeks ago I walked over to a party and did the following literally at one go:
- streaming web radio
- navigating via GPS to the party
- making photos of buildings and sending them to flickr
- writing an SMS that I'm almost there
- got a phone call
And the device was still usable
Try to do that iPhone :p
And regarding the cam. Skype video calls work nice and the cam quality is pretty nice. Don't know what the mirror app did wrong?
