Actully, i don't agree on the laptop. i got a HP pavilion dv7.
And for me it's perfect, the reason is that im moving alot, since im a student, it takes little room, and it can easily be moved and taken with me, something a stationary computer can't.

What can I say Guys, good show. You guys should get a segment on G4TV. Lot of great info. I have to agree that Memory alpha is cruddy. I am very discourage with it. To be truthful it should allow you to build almost anything and trade in a number of resources for the ones you need. I have a ton of anti-matter!
Thanks Guys.

Good point, and really STO is not overly demanding, if your goal is to only
play STO, a laptop with a fair to nice GPU could handle it fine.

Meh… I still disagree. It's a small % of overall user base that actually NEEDS any form of portability, which is truly the only reason a laptop would be a preferred gaming rig. It falls short of spec vs. price on every other feature. I consider this situation an exception to the rule, not a reason to reconsider its viability.

I also have a Gigabyte MB I'm very happy with it but for some reason I can't get it to boot from my USB flashdrive. I've booted off the exact same drive on different computers this one is the only one I have trouble with. I have an Ultra 650 watt PSU with a 135mm fan. Dead silent, 3 year warranty without registration and a Lifetime warranty with registration. The only downside is the thing has so many cables I call it Medusa. My favorite feature of the MB is the vertical headers. so you don't have 2 come in at funny angles.
