  • ITS MY SHOOOOOOW!....... Joint Failures.

Awesome addition to Jupiter Broadcasting. More geek shows == absolute win.... Despite the show's name.

Wow Chris. You are so wrong about the Windows 7 iso switcher. Microsoft's activation servers definitely know what version your key is valid for. You will may be able to install with the modified media, but if you install a different version, it will not activate. You really should have done some research before running your mouth on this. John's guesses were right.

It confuses my brain though, because from what I am reading online, people are able to activate ok.. So how does that work?

Does the activator check a file to see what version it is suppose to be, and that file says it's whatever version you changed it to because that gets copied over during the install?

Seems like a lotta work... I say if you want ultimate, pay for it... Or at least an OEM copy.

That is odd. The only way to really find out would be to test it. Vista the 7 Beta and the 7 RC let you install any edition and then checked to make sure you license key was valid for that version. I'm not sure if it supports downgrades (i.e. installing Basic with a higher end key) but I seriously doubt it supports upgrades. It should give an error when activating.

BTW, what exactly is Joint Failures? What is it about? I couldn't find a description anywhere.

You guys are very irresponsible to encourage vaccinations when there is so much information that vaccination are detrimental to your long term and immediate health. Hopefully you guys never get any injections!

Good story about your dad Chris. Chris you are not compelled to vaccinate your children! You would be a bad parent if you do pump chemical and cancer causing liquids into your children.

Vaccinations don't work they must likely will cause the virus. Also putting a live so called passive virus directly into your blood is stupid. Not to mention vaccinations are usually cultured on foetus tissue or cancer type genes.

    Do the research...

Who would want to reduce their child's IQ score by using vaccination or even killing them with the diseases and poisons in the needles.

Right, so the ability to change Windows edition is a TEXT FILE and is well documented. The activation process is purely based on key. Windows Vista let you choose edition during the installer - Win 7 just lets you choose with a text file. When you enter a Home Premium key on an Ultimate install, it won't accept it. AFAIK, there's no "way around" this system.
