I think you both handled it rather well and very professional. I applaud you both!
Exactly what I have been telling people on the #STO IRC channel. Luckily its died down a whole lot in there since then.
And yes, we've know this for awhile now from articles. But as you said, it was bound to blow once they heard it and started to assume things.

Why is it cool that the Feds have the ability to advance in a “easier” way and the Klingons are forced to kill each other? Cannon for Klingons is combat. You have combat in PvE. As for the announcement being out for months, it was a vague statement (“Klingons are PvP centric”) which they would not define until Daniel defined it in your interview. Untill that point, most people were still operating under previous announcements that both factions could do everything that the other could do.

Please can we get the guy that leaked klingon beta dropped from beta? Keep you eyes out for him.
His video was full of bugs with no attemt to report them, when questioned about reporting bugs his simple answer was
STFU
Not the kind of child we want beta testing our game.

Great show guys. What races are you all going to play? Will you team up?
After everyone has finished watching your videos, people can check out http://startrekonline.stackexchange.com/ for Q&A on Star Trek Online

This podcast was crap, they completely invalidated the fact that alot of people would want to play the Klingons.
Most would want to play the Federation they say, .. umm no look at WoW Horde has a very large following, almost 50% and they are analagous to what the Klingons are.
Blizzard managed to make a horde storyline and the Horde are very warlike, to say that making a Klingon storyline isn't practical is nothing but small mindedness. It's a cop out because they want to get the game out faster and don't want to devote the resources to making a Klingon campaign.

You're description of LOTRO Monster Play understates the options available to Monster Players. There are 15 ranks of advancement, not 5. Monsters get several new abilities at all ranks. Only a beginning monster would have about 5 buttons. Monsters are all at the max level for the game, so monster players never have to worry about level mismatches and can always group together. The difference between monster play and regular play is that monster abilities are all in a tight range of capability, such that the game remains viable through all 15 ranks.
To me, saying STO Klingon Play being like LOTRO Monster Play is a good thing. I was a 100% monster player and the major complaint I saw of monster players was that the LOTRO developers largely ignored Monster Play. There was only one area to fight in and it never changed.

Hey, i was looking into buying the blu-ray set to get their bonus STO uniform content. But, Amazon.com didn't list it as one of the features. Is it possible not all copies come with the in-game content?
